It’s never too late to learn how to ski. Our instructors teach from beginner to advanced, with many tips or tricks up their sleeve to help you to learn the newest techniques. They will make sure that you always feel safe and confident by choosing the perfect terrain for your ability’s.
Our instructors are happy to guide you through our great ski area and show you the best slopes!

Course details
Course times: are from 10 a. m. - 12. noon | Extension rates: valid after 2 days | Group courses: at least 4 participants
For adult courses, bookings can be made from one week before the start of the Christmas holidays until one week after Easter. Before and after this period we offer only Private courses.
Exception in autumn: From October 27th till November 7th, 2025, we offer group courses at the Pitztaler Glacier, according to the 4 participants rule.

Adults - green:
Starts on Sunday or Monday, meeting point information board/adult flag Kinderland Mandarfen
Adults - blue & red:
Starts Monday and Tuesday, meeting point on Monday at the information board/adult flag Kinderland Mandarfen, at the other days infront of the Ski School Office bottom station Rifflseebahn
Adults - black:
Courses at this level are only offered as private lessons. Please feel free to send us an inquiry.
Meeting point in autumn will be infront of the ski school office on the Pitztal glacier.
General information
- Minimum number of participants: 4 persons.
- Maximum number of participants: 12 participants
According to the Tyrolean ski school law, in exceptional cases (holidays), up to 15 people are allowed to take part in a group course - If a group is less than 4 participants the ski school has the right to put smaller groups together, change the course times or cancel the lessons.
- Lift tickets and equipment are not included in the price of the lessons.
- Ski pass information: If you buy your early bird ski pass online you get a discount.
- If you a buy a one or one and a half day pass for Rifflsee/Gletscher, the beginners lift in Mandarfen is not included.
- Absence due to injury will only be reimburdes with a doctor's certificate.
- If courses are cancelled due to an act of nature beyond control, money will no be reimbursed.

Level 0 – Your First Day on Skis – Never Skied Before
Goal:

Level of ability:
Able to ski on blue slopes
Goals:
- to reduce the wedge position
- to ski on red slopes
- to ski over obstacels (waves)
- controlled side slipping
Level of ability:
Able to ski on red and black slopes, controlled side slipping
Goal:
- carven (long and short turns)
- pole plant
- parallel skiing
- stabilization of the ski technique
- first experiences in deep snow
- to ski on black slopes with short turns
Level of ability:
Able to ski on black slopes, pole plant, carving on red slopes
Goals:
- race carving turns (long and short)
- steep terrain
- freeride
- funpark
- demo skiing
- mogul slope
- ski cross
